Beyond the Horizon

‘Beyond the Horizon’ was a Solo Exhibition that ran from 25 April – 22 June 2026. It was open to the public at The Meffan Museum and Art Gallery in Forfar, Angus. Remaining paintings are still available to view and purchase here.

‘The exhibition explores the wild beauty of Scotland’s land and seascapes through striking and atmospheric paintings that celebrate nature’s vastness and constant transformation.

From Angus to Shetland, the work reflects an on going fascination with the shifting relationship between land and sea, where sky, water and earth converge. Immersion in place is central to the artist’s process, each painting shaped by direct experience, deep connection, and a profound respect for the power and presence of the natural world.’
