I often get asked for paintings from a certain place, especially by clients looking to buy an artwork that resonates with them, because of a family connection or a special memory. So for your viewing convenience in this section of my shop, I have placed paintings by geographical location.

This is not always as easy as it sounds – while a particular place may have inspired a painting, there is always a part of another painting in each new work I make. As my paintings are made from memory – from remembering a moment – sometimes it is impossible to isolate just one memory. Sights, sounds, emotions and smells often become entangled, and during the painting process ideas might be triggered from seemingly unrelated moments. As my experiences become interwoven, so do the paintings – each one gifting the next with a fragment of its self.
