In January 2021 I took part in the fundraiser ‘Maggie’s Centre Run 50 miles in January Challenge’. After each run, I made a series of watercolour studies as part of Fun A Day Dundee. I don’t usually sell anything from my sketchbooks. Sketchbooks are precious and private things – they provide an opportunity to play about with ideas, experiment and importantly – to get things wrong! But sometimes my sketches are made on loose paper and sometimes they turn out to be quite lovely compositions in their own right and become a complete artwork rather than just a sketch.
It’s these ones I have decided to offer for sale. Each one is made immediately after a run and in response to the landscapes I ran through for Maggie’s 50 miles – or from remembering moments from places further away.
The landscape painting is presented in a white frame which measures 12.5cm wide x 17.5cm high x 2.5cm deep. The size of the painting is 5cm wide x 10cm high. The painting that you will receive does not have a watermark. It comes with a ‘Genuine Original Artwork’ guarantee and is signed by the artist.
The painting will be sent wrapped in tissue paper for protection, then further wrapped in biodegradable bubble wrap, brown kraft paper and tied together with jute string. The painting will be wrapped in additional packaging material so that it arrives with you in the safest way possible.
UK orders will be shipped either using Royal Mail’s special delivery service, or by a tracked courier service. International orders will be shipped using either Royal Mail’s international tracked and signed service or international air courier.
