‘Slow Awakening’ is from a collection responding to St Ninian’s Bay in Shetland. This collection of work is inspired by a recent VACMA funded immersive research trip to Shetland to explore the relationship between land and sea. Exploring the coastline and landscape of this archipelago – I fell in love with one of the most wild and remote places in the UK.
