‘Angus Fields‘ is from a collection responding to the landscape around Forfar. Based on a series of paintings originally made for my Solo Exhibition in 2020, which was postponed due to Covid. These paintings went onto inspire a mural design on the exterior wall of Colin M Smith, Forfar. It was a great project to be involved with and lovely to create something so cheery in the community. In honour of this, I have revisited these paintings – as the original versions found their forever homes many years ago. The new revised versions, are bigger, bolder and zestier!! Please note: This painting is included in my Solo Exhibition, ‘Beyond the Horizon’ and will remain on display at The Meffan Museum + Art Gallery, Forfar until the end of the exhibition on 22 June 2026.
